Grief Counselling & Psychotherapy available in Rose Park & Online

Hi, I’m Vivienne, Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist

White Lily Counselling

At White Lily Counselling, I offer a safe and compassionate space to honour whatever grief or loss you are facing – whether it is visible to others or carried quietly within. Each session is especially tailored to your own needs.

Together, we can explore your experience, find meaning, and move gently toward healing and growth.

The Many Faces of Grief

  • Death of a loved one → the deep sorrow of saying goodbye.
  • Pet loss → the heartbreak of losing a beloved animal companion
  • Relationship changes → separation, divorce, or estrangement.
  • Life transitions → retirement, moving house, or children leaving home.
  • Health challenges → facing illness, injury, disability or changes in mental capacity.
  • Anticipatory grief – grieving before a loss occurs, such as during terminal illness
  • Loss of identity or role → career shifts, redundancy, or changes in family roles.
  • Unrealised hopes → dreams, plans, or expectations that never came to be.
  • Loss of identity or role – redundancy, career shifts, or changes in family roles.
  • Loss of safety or stability – financial hardship, displacement, or natural disasters.
  • Loss of community or belonging – moving away, cultural disconnection, or feeling excluded.
  • Collective or societal grief – shared grief after community tragedies, global events, or cultural losses.

Grief touches us all, but how it unfolds in your life is unique.
